- The DOF fulfills the state statutory responsibilities for tax assessment and collection.
Responsibilities
- The DOF leads fiscal analysis and guidance, property assessments, budgeting, accounting functions, enforcement of fiscal policies, practices and procedures for the entire City and County of Denver.
- DOF also manages the City's debt portfolio and investment portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
Nice to have
- Work with agency leadership and a co-trainer for the agency and 3rd party partnership development needs.
- Conducting training and supporting the other trainers within the classroom and outside of the classroom
- The development and delivery of various web-based training knowledge and skill is preferred
- Evaluating student progress using written examinations and/or practical examinations, auditing trainees' work, and adjusting teaching approaches to accommodate students' needs
- Consulting with staff members and managers to determine if training programs are meeting the needs of the agency
- Updating training materials and methods to keep current with new techniques, and evaluating and modifying training programs as needed
- Preparing reports regarding the effectiveness of training and preparing and maintaining records on student progress
- Knowledge and experience with the DRIVES Motor Vehicle programs
Compensation
- 140 hours of PTO earned within first year + 12 paid holidays, 1 personal holiday, 1 Wellness Day and 1 volunteer day per year
