About the role
- This is a fully onsite role based at our Reading, PA facility.
- You will be on the floor and in the yard, close to the drivers and the trucks.
- Run a preventive maintenance program that keeps trucks ready to roll and downtime low
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation for DOT and FMCSA reviews
- Lead driver safety, accident prevention, and post-incident root cause and corrective action
- Supervise, coach, and support the driver team day to day
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Reading fleet, including vehicles, equipment, and assigned drivers
Requirements
- Track record leading regional transportation and logistics execution, including routing, carrier coordination, and on-time delivery
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and hazmat transport requirements
Nice to have
- Union experience preferred
- CDL and hazmat endorsement familiarity a plus
