About the role
- This position serves as the subject matter expert for EHS learning initiatives, ensuring employees receive effective training that enhances knowledge, improves performance, and reduces workplace risks.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, performance metrics, and employee feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain EHS training matrices for employees, supervisors, and leadership teams.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify workforce development needs and training priorities.
- Training Program Development Create engaging instructor-led, virtual, and computer-based training programs.
- Develop training materials including presentations, facilitator guides, participant manuals, videos, eLearning modules, and job aids.
Requirements
- Experience Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in construction, utility, industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or related industries.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering safety training programs.
- Experience conducting classroom, virtual, and field-based training.
- Experience managing training records, compliance documentation, and LMS platforms.

- Experience with eLearning development tools preferred.
- Experience supporting utility, infrastructure, construction, transportation, or field service organizations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Training completion and compliance rates.
- Reduction in safety incidents related to training deficiencies.
- Employee knowledge retention and assessment scores.
- New hire onboarding effectiveness.
- Training program participation and engagement metrics.
Compensation
- $30k-$40k
