Responsibilities

  • The Plant IT Technician reports directly to the USCAN Plant Systems East Team Lead with a dotted line relationship to the local plant management teams.
  • Manage SLAs and resolve incidents in ServiceNow
  • Maintain security, appearance, and organization of the server room
  • Partner across local departments-Engineering, HR, Maintenance-to advise on deployments and execute projects

Requirements

  • Make recommendations to the USCAN Plant Systems Team when IT hardware and/or software upgrades are required and assist with quotes for procurement through approved vendors
  • Travel may be required (approximately 10%)
  • Experience configuring / troubleshooting issues / and deploying IT hardware, such as printers, PCs, thin clients, scan guns, and/or radio frequency (RF) devices required

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, plus at least 1 year of professional IT Technical support experience
  • Experience with inventory, asset management, and CMDB is a plus
