About the role
- We have 9 manufacturing facilities, 13+ distribution centers, and over 900 people working across more than 20 locations in Canada and the United States.
- That kind of footprint doesn't run itself.
- Every plant, every distribution center, every field salesperson and office team depends on technology that simply works.
Responsibilities
- Manage server monitoring systems to catch issues before they become outages.
- Manage data backup and archiving processes.
- Collaborate on the implementation, maintenance, and testing of the IT disaster recovery plan.
- Provide after-hours support on a rotating on-call schedule with other team members.
Requirements
- You communicate clearly with both technicians and non-technical staff, and you know how to adjust your register for the room.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
- Experience in a multi-site environment, ideally manufacturing, distribution, or industrial - you understand what it means when operations go down.
- Solid hands-on experience with virtualized servers (Linux & Windows), networks, and storage (installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
- Experience with backup, archiving, and monitoring tools, and familiarity with disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Familiarity with ERP environments
- Comfortable working from an ITSM/ticketing platform - Jira preferred.
- Experience in Cloud Environment (Azure, AWS, Docker)
- Fluency in French and English is required - our headquarters is in Saint-Hubert, QC and the team spans the country.
