About the role

  • Our Talent Acquisition Associates play an integral role in attracting great people to Morningstar from providing the first experience through candidate sourcing, to interview scheduling, to the pre-onboarding process.
  • This is a great opportunity to learn full cycle recruiting to prepare yourself for a career in talent acquisition.
  • Note: This position is based in our Chicago office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Americas' Talent Acquisition Specialists (recruiters) to own interview scheduling, playing a critical role as Morningstar's first point of contact for our candidates and future employees.
  • Support the candidate offer, background check and pre-onboarding processes, ensuring the highest quality and thoroughness.
  • Manage and solve inquiries that come from TA team and our candidates.
  • We design and deliver the end-to-end programs and experiences that support the entire talent lifecycle.
  • Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience and a proven track record in People & Culture (HR) or in a client service-related role.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, act professionally, and proactively take responsibility.
  • Strong desire in a career path in talent acquisition, including sourcing candidates to uncover talent, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstration of a high level of discretion and candor relating to sensitive or confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while delivering on a dynamic candidate and hiring manager experience, acting with appropriate urgency to time sensitive work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a process improvement inclination.
  • A passion for learning about Morningstar's business, our mission, and working in accordance with our values.

Compensation

  • $23 - $25 per hour
