About the role
- Our Talent Acquisition Associates play an integral role in attracting great people to Morningstar from providing the first experience through candidate sourcing, to interview scheduling, to the pre-onboarding process.
- This is a great opportunity to learn full cycle recruiting to prepare yourself for a career in talent acquisition.
- Note: This position is based in our Chicago office.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our Americas' Talent Acquisition Specialists (recruiters) to own interview scheduling, playing a critical role as Morningstar's first point of contact for our candidates and future employees.
- Support the candidate offer, background check and pre-onboarding processes, ensuring the highest quality and thoroughness.
- Manage and solve inquiries that come from TA team and our candidates.
- We design and deliver the end-to-end programs and experiences that support the entire talent lifecycle.

Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
- 1-2 years of professional experience and a proven track record in People & Culture (HR) or in a client service-related role.
- Proven ability to learn quickly, act professionally, and proactively take responsibility.
- Strong desire in a career path in talent acquisition, including sourcing candidates to uncover talent, both internally and externally.
- Demonstration of a high level of discretion and candor relating to sensitive or confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while delivering on a dynamic candidate and hiring manager experience, acting with appropriate urgency to time sensitive work.
- Strong attention to detail and a process improvement inclination.
- A passion for learning about Morningstar's business, our mission, and working in accordance with our values.
Compensation
- $23 - $25 per hour
