About the role

  • As a founding Video Editor at Snowball, you will play a key role in shaping YouTube content for some of the biggest brands in the world..
  • This role is ideal for an editor who understands that editing is storytelling and who is excited to push beyond technical execution into creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with producers and strategists to interpret creative briefs and bring concepts to life
  • Implement notes quickly and accurately across multiple feedback rounds
  • Manage multiple projects and clients at once while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain consistency across episodes, formats, and recurring content series
  • Support the development of repeatable editing systems that enable channel scale

Requirements

  • Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable editing software.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, structure, retention tactics, and platform best practices.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with competing client priorities and tight timelines
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate clearly with producers and teams
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly

Nice to have

  • 3-5+ years of professional editing experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling craft (required).
  • YouTube experience preferred.
  • Experience editing long-form content (YouTube experience strongly preferred)
