Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate the accounting impact of new or non-recurring transactions that are significant and may have a material impact to the Company's financial statements, and document conclusions in well-supported technical accounting memos reviewed by the Head of Financial Reporting and SOX PMO.
- Monitor and assess new and emerging accounting pronouncements (ASUs) and SEC guidance, maintain the Company's accounting policies, and lead implementation of significant changes
- Own and operate key SOX controls within your areas, coordinate with external auditors on walkthroughs and requests, and maintain thorough, audit-ready documentation.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and business teams to evaluate the accounting and reporting implications of new transactions, and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and assess new and emerging accounting pronouncements (ASUs) and SEC guidance, maintain the Company's accounting policies, and lead implementation of significant changes; subscribe to and leverage Big 4 accounting research tools and training.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- active CPA required.
- Strong, current knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with demonstrated ability to research technical issues and write clear, well-supported position papers/memos.
- comfortable operating in a fast-paced financial close environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
Nice to have
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant Big 4 public accounting experience (technical accounting / national office experience a plus).
- Fintech or SaaS industry experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle and Workiva preferred
- advanced Excel skills.
