Responsibilities
- The primary function of the Condition Monitoring Application Engineer (CMAE) is to support the sales process by providing technical expertise and tribal knowledge to the sales team.
- Support solutions architects in the sales process as the subject matter expert in condition monitoring.
- Attend tradeshows to assist the sales team with technical knowledge and lead capture.
- Work closely with the product development team to create high-value hardware and software solutions and expanded product offerings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience with vibration data collection and analysis.
- Ability to commit to travel up to 50% for 2-3 days at a time.
- Collaboration within core working hours is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to discover pain points for the customer and drive towards a solution.
- Strong mechanical background with industrial equipment - centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Proficient in developing optimum corrective actions based on findings of acquired field vibration analysis data, observations, and discussions with key plant personnel.
- Desire to work in a "startup" environment and have a "startup" mentality.
- Customer-focused - desire and knowledge to understand customer needs

- Demonstrate integrity - behave ethically, act fairly, and take responsibility for accomplishing work.
