About the role
- Avaap is seeking a Workday Senior Consultant, FIN Core + Customer Accounts to join our team supporting a structured, accelerated implementation model.
- In this model, clients go live quickly using a preconfigured baseline informed by deep experience in government and higher education.
- As a Senior Consultant, you will guide clients through validation, configuration, and deployment-ensuring alignment to scope while delivering high-quality outcomes on an accelerated timeline.
Responsibilities
- Lead FIN Core and Customer Accounts workstreams within Workday Financials implementations
- Support testing, issue resolution, and go-live readiness
- Partner with cross-functional teams including integrations and data conversion
- This role offers the opportunity to lead implementation work in a model built for speed and consistency, while still delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
Requirements
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Must be certified in Record to Report and Banking
- Experience with FDM and Contract to Cash strongly desired
- Strong understanding of financial business processes

- Guide clients through requirement validation and scope alignment
- Configure and deploy solutions within a structured delivery model
- Provide best practice recommendations aligned to Avaap's baseline approach

Compensation
- Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience.
- As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
- Base Salary Range is $115,000 to $160,000 plus 20 % variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
- During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
