About the role

  • Institute for Advancing Health through Agriculture-Project Management
  • The student technician provides hands-on assistance in analytical chemistry, chemical or biological engineering, food and agricultural science, or clinical research, supporting daily lab operations and assisting researchers on multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements

  • Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to perform both technical and routine lab tasks.
  • Required Education and Experience:
  • Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal instruction, and manage time effectively.
  • All positions are security-sensitive. Nice to have

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student at Texas A&M University.
  • Major in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical or Biological Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.

Skills

  • Previous lab experience is required but lab specific training will be provided
  • Stand for extended periods during lab work.
