About the role
- Institute for Advancing Health through Agriculture-Project Management
- The student technician provides hands-on assistance in analytical chemistry, chemical or biological engineering, food and agricultural science, or clinical research, supporting daily lab operations and assisting researchers on multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements
- Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to perform both technical and routine lab tasks.
- Required Education and Experience:
- Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal instruction, and manage time effectively.

Nice to have
- Current undergraduate or graduate student at Texas A&M University.
- Major in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical or Biological Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
Skills
- Previous lab experience is required but lab specific training will be provided
- Stand for extended periods during lab work.
