About the role
- The ideal candidate prioritizes excellent storytelling and will oversee staff writers to shepherd newsletters and other stories from start to finish.
- This person will work closely with the team's other editors to suggest story ideas, sharpen angles, edit, and write vivid and effective headlines and subject lines.
- They will also assist in the execution of special projects and experimentation around newsletter growth and engagement, and have occasional opportunities to write.
Nice to have
- 10 years of editing experience
- A stellar work ethic and exceptional time management
- A magazine sensibility, with a passion for ideas-based journalism
- Knowledge of the current newsletter landscape is a plus
Compensation
- Salary minimum: $105,000; Salary maximum: $125,000
