About the role

  • The Physician assumes responsibility and accountability for the provisions of primary health care and medical management of patients at the Hendricks Community Hospital Association.
  • Physicians practice under the rules and regulations of the medical practice act of the state in which they work.

Requirements

  • Must have current licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal/human relations skills with ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner.
  • Requires analytical skills and the ability to analyze and evaluate problems.
  • Must be able to implement and interpret policies and procedures.
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution of medicine.
  • Must maintain continuing education requirements to keep up-to-date with changes in the field.
  • Must possess commitment to healthcare and concern for customers and patients.
  • Must possess knowledge of medical procedures and terminology. Must possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with attentiveness to detail.
  • Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, the physicians, customers, patients, and the general public.
  • Should be able to use common sense and be a fair judge of character. Must exhibit a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Good leadership, initiative and judgment skills.

Compensation

  • Provides health maintenance care for adults, including annual physicals.

Benefits

  • Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America)
