About the role
- The Physician assumes responsibility and accountability for the provisions of primary health care and medical management of patients at the Hendricks Community Hospital Association.
- Physicians practice under the rules and regulations of the medical practice act of the state in which they work.
Requirements
- Must have current licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota.
- Must possess strong interpersonal/human relations skills with ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner.
- Requires analytical skills and the ability to analyze and evaluate problems.
- Must be able to implement and interpret policies and procedures.
- Computer knowledge required.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution of medicine.
- Must maintain continuing education requirements to keep up-to-date with changes in the field.
- Must possess commitment to healthcare and concern for customers and patients.
- Must possess knowledge of medical procedures and terminology. Must possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with attentiveness to detail.
- Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, the physicians, customers, patients, and the general public.
- Should be able to use common sense and be a fair judge of character. Must exhibit a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Good leadership, initiative and judgment skills.
Compensation
- Provides health maintenance care for adults, including annual physicals.
