Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Dimondale, MI 48821 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Hybrid Position Summary The State of Michigan is looking for a candidate with a focus on basic cloud engineering Cloud deployment.
This role is ideal for early‑career technologists who have foundational cloud knowledge and are eager to grow into a full cloud engineering or cloud architecture role.
Solid understanding and skill with DevOps, web services and application programming interfaces (APIs).

Experience with Tooling and Automation to enable seamless automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Google - Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader AWS - Certified Cloud Practitioner Core Competencies Ability to learn and apply cloud engineering concepts quickly.

Help maintain and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure components.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools.
Participate in integrating cloud pipelines with existing DevOps systems.
Document architecture decisions, pipeline configurations, and deployment procedures.
Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and training activities.
Assist in implementing secure configurations and monitoring controls.
Work with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into cloud requirements.
Participate in discussions with vendors, product specialists, and internal teams to evaluate technologies.
Support enterprise architecture reviews and solution assessments.
