About the role
- Cloud Engineer Location: Arlington, VA Summary: The Cloud Engineer will provide engineering expertise in building, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for DHS CISA. This role focuses on deploying mission-critical workloads in compliant environments while supporting modernization and Zero Trust initiatives. Responsibilities: Deploy and manage
- workloads in AWS GovCloud and Azure Gov. Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. Implement Zero Trust and FedRAMP-compliant security configurations. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance. Collaborate with architects, developers, and security engineers to align cloud solutions

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud operations.
- Strong understanding of DHS, NIST, and FedRAMP cloud security standards.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Skills
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
