About the role

The person in this role serves as a key resource for students while supporting institutional enrollment and retention efforts.
This is a full-time, five-month assignment, working on campus in Golden, Colorado.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Provide comprehensive support for students as they transition to and navigate the college experience.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely advising records through the institution's online advising platform.
Collaborate with colleagues and campus partners to promote student success and retention initiatives.

Bachelor's degree.
Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new student success and advising platforms.
Assist students in understanding degree requirements, curriculum options, course sequencing, and academic policies.

Knowledge of student development principles and best practices in academic advising.
Experience supporting first-year, transfer, or academically at-risk students.
