About the role
- The Electrical Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for leading projects from pre-construction through closeout while also preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- This dual-role position requires strong technical knowledge, financial oversight, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed electrical estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and subcontractor pricing
- Manage multiple electrical projects from award through completion
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates
- Manage billing, cash flow, and project financial reporting
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Requirements
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and/or project management
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, or similar)
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation
- $80k-$90k
