About the role

  • The PMS 450 program is physically located at the Washington Navy Yard, District of Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in the system product life-cycle technical areas to include requirements, design, implementation, sustainment, and integration of systems supported by the PMS 450 technical team (SERCO).
  • Prepare and assist on System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) such as Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), etc.
  • Manage, report, and mitigate technical risks communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Courses of Action and trade-off analysis to inform design decisions considering cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Generate technical documentation and artifacts such as System Engineering Plans, Configuration Management Plans, and Interface Control Documents
  • Ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DoD Secret security clearance

Requirements

  • U.S Citizenship required
  • A Bachelor's degree in professional engineering degree, computer science, management information systems, or related fields
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (most likely will not be required to travel)

Skills

  • 1 year of Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • 1 year of Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Automate, Power App)
  • 1 year of experience in Software Engineering (This can include internships, undergraduate work, and graduate assistantships)

Compensation

  • Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations.
