Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with contractors/fabricators on the fabrication, erection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of new and used equipment.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering Technology, Trades experience or equivalent industry qualifications.
  • Minimum five years of experience in technical roles, preferably in the bulk material handling or heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to work with contractors, fabricators, and suppliers on technical projects.
  • Proficient in interpreting mechanical and structural drawings- ability to interpret electrical drawings is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of basic welding principles and practices.
  • Experience working with Excel and Word
  • familiarity with drafting software such as AutoCAD is an asset.
  • Ideal candidates will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong technical report writing skills for inspections and evaluations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the proven ability to document technical information clearly.

  • We're looking for a skilled and experienced Field Advisor to join our team, supporting the fabrication, installation, commissioning and maintenance of equipment in the bulk material handling industry.
  • In this dynamic role, you'll leverage your technical engineering expertise and ability to interpret mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings to conduct detailed onsite inspections, ensuring equipment meets all specified requirements.
  • This position requires extensive domestic and international travel and involves working in diverse industrial environments.
  • We're open to candidates based in British Columbia or Ontario who are ready to take their expertise into the field.
