About the role

  • This isn't just another accounting leadership role.
  • The Senior Revenue Accounting Manager sits at the heart of DoiT's finance function, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting / Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global revenue accounting team (2-3 FTEs) through monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS revenue recognition standards.
  • Establish and maintain revenue recognition policies for subscription and consumption-based models, partnering with Legal and Sales teams on contract evaluation.
  • Support external audits and provide audit-ready, internal-controls-compliant documentation
  • produce clear technical memos and policy documentation to support conclusions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years focused on revenue accounting.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition across complex arrangements, including consumption-based and subscription models.
  • Experience managing external audits as primary contact for revenue matters.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ARM module, or equivalent enterprise revenue system
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop geographically distributed teams while influencing cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communicator
  • Able to translate complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-financial audiences
  • excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.
  • intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills essential.
  • Aptitude for finance technology transformation
  • Automation, AI-enabled workflows, and modern close tooling.

Nice to have

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting preferred.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with PE-backed company environments and associated sponsor reporting rhythms.
  • Familiarity with close management platforms (FloQast, BlackLine, or similar).
  • Prior involvement in systems implementations, ERP upgrades, or integrations resulting from M&A or technology roadmap decisions.
  • Peer Recognition Program
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification required
  • Big Four or mid-tier public accounting background strongly preferred.
