Responsibilities

  • Maintain a proactive diary system to track key milestones and ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Lead and participate in claim review meetings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds, and risk managers to deliver high-quality, tailored service.
  • Lead and participate in claim review meetings; analyze trends and present insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Underwriting, Risk Management, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in claims handling processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Maintain strong documentation and audit readiness standards.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex claims with significant financial exposure.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience handling complex Professional Liability claims.

Nice to have

  • Evaluate and assign new claims based on complexity, jurisdiction, and expertise.
  • Ensure timely, strategic decision-making aligned with business and client goals.
  • Provide hands-on claims management for Fidelity Bond, D&O, E&O, and EPL matters.
  • Direct litigation strategy in collaboration with defense counsel, including attendance at mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Serve as a primary claims liaison for key accounts and specialty programs in partnership with Professional Liability leadership.
  • analyze trends and present insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide insights on claims trends, emerging risks, and loss drivers to inform underwriting strategy and product development.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

Compensation

  • $103,000-$168,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
  • The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, and qualifications.
