About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a 16-week syllabus
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations and reading discussions as relevant
  • The AD Department is seeking an artist-educator able to teach introductory to advanced techniques and concepts in Architectural Design

Requirements

  • While performing the duties of job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Required ability to teach advanced techniques in Architectural Design
  • Required training: Exhibitions Department Installation Guide and Policy handbook, MICA Handbook orientation, Anti-Harassment, Hazard Communication, Emergency Plans & Fire Prevention, Personal Protection Equipment. (additional training may be added, SEE: EHS Manager training schedule) Interdisciplinary Sculpture Department Studio Safety Manual
