About the role

  • The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, administration, and oversight of evidence-based physical therapy services provided to individuals with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations.
  • They act in accordance with physician referral guidelines, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures.
  • They embody strong customer service skills and communicate in a concise, tactful manner with physicians, co-workers, caregivers, family members, patients, and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Performs ongoing evaluation of patient's response to treatment to assure effective and appropriate provision of services as demonstrated through documentation.
  • They develop and update appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family to assist in returning to their prior level of function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA, prior to starting employment..
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA, prior to starting employment.

Nice to have

  • 6 months experience
  • American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
  • AZ State Board of Physical Therapy and/or PT Compact License
  • Current license issued by the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy that is in good standing, and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA, prior to starting employment. - Preferred
  • Network float position: six (6) months recent experience - Preferred
  • 6 months experience - Preferred
  • American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) - Preferred

Skills

  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills to enhance and encourage collaborative staff relationships.
