About the role
- The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, administration, and oversight of evidence-based physical therapy services provided to individuals with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations.
- They act in accordance with physician referral guidelines, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures.
- They embody strong customer service skills and communicate in a concise, tactful manner with physicians, co-workers, caregivers, family members, patients, and other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Performs ongoing evaluation of patient's response to treatment to assure effective and appropriate provision of services as demonstrated through documentation.
- They develop and update appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family to assist in returning to their prior level of function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA, prior to starting employment..
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA, prior to starting employment.
Nice to have
- 6 months experience
- American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- AZ State Board of Physical Therapy and/or PT Compact License
- Current license issued by the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy that is in good standing, and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA, prior to starting employment. - Preferred
- Network float position: six (6) months recent experience - Preferred
- 6 months experience - Preferred
- American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) - Preferred
