About the role
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to HIDI quality standards
Responsibilities
- This role combines technical design, project management, client communication, and team coordination to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to HIDI's quality standards.
- Lead electrical engineering projects from concept design through construction
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and construction support
- Support continuous improvement of technical processes and standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Support proposal preparation and fee development
- Manage project scope, schedules, and resources
- Identify project risks and develop practical solutions
- Lead electrical projects from concept through construction
- Build strong client relationships
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology Diploma
- Experience leading electrical engineering projects
- Strong understanding of base building electrical design and applicable codes and standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Revit experience is considered an asset)
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities
