About the role
- Assess, negotiate, and advise on contracts in accordance with internal guidelines.
- Provide internal training on legal topics, including contracting and terms.
- You are a qualified shipping lawyer with at least five years of dedicated legal experience within a maritime environment, specializing in maritime practice, P&I clubs, or similar sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop improvements in procedures and standardization to enhance the efficiency of legal support;
- Support the commercial and business development teams in entering into contracts and project teams with claims during project execution;
- Support the management of the Global Fleet Services organization in business development, assessing partnership and collaboration agreements;
- You have demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and foster strong professional relationships.
Requirements
- You have excellent proficiency both oral and written in English.
Compensation
- 29 holidays per year based on a fulltime employment (of which 4 are appointed by Fugro management) and the possibility to purchase 12 additional days;
