About the role

Inside the Role Procurement is one of the most international departments at Detroit Diesel Corporation (DDC).
As a member of the department of Daimler Truck global purchasing team you will gain valuable experience and knowledge cross-functionally.
There are multiple advancement and travel opportunities within the department.

Responsibilities

Partners with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels
Ability to proactively take charge and lead tasks to completion

Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
Bachelor's degree (completed or expected within the next 6 months) from an accredited university/college
Experience with contracts, cost structures as well as business and economic issues

Compensation

Our employees receive annual training in professional negotiation tactics, as well as training courses on internal DDC functions.
