Responsibilities
- Provide in-field engineering support of ML data collection and field tests, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving and documenting all relevant aspects
- Document customers' observations, comments, and concerns regarding John Deere and Blue River Technology products and equipment and share with Product Management, Agronomy and Engineering partners
- Perform hands-on set-up, maintenance, testing and customization in the field per engineering test requirements
- Suggest design alternatives and support development of new features and tools based on early product testing experiences and observations
- Support Product and Engineering in creating product documentation, instructions and guides
- Support Field management with training, supervision and quality control of seasonal field personnel, testing and data collection activities
Requirements
- Collaborate with host cooperators to integrate test and ML data collection machines into productive work, and manage appropriate contracts and agreements as required
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in engineering, computer science, agriculture, construction or related technical area
Compensation
- The US annual base salary range for this position is $77,000 - $113,850, along with eligibility for Blue River's bonus and benefit programs.
