Responsibilities
- The Office of Human Resources (OHR) IT unit is responsible for supporting OHR's mission of collaborating with client departments to deliver quality customer service.
- This position will be a member of a small team that supports existing and evolving applications using HTML, ASP, XML, SQL, MS Access, Excel, and various Reporting tools.
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited college or university that includes major course work in computer sciences, management information systems or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience with Human Resources Systems including configurations, customizations - Preferably with Web/SQL development and interfacing with HR systems
- 2-3 years of programming experience with HTML, ASP JavaScript,, XML, MS Access, SQL, PL/SQL or similar products
- 2-3 years of experience with HR based reporting tools or Data Warehouse knowledge such as EiS, Report Writer, Cognos, OBIEE, similar transaction based / data warehousing and reporting tools
- The successful candidate must be a city of Philadelphia resident within six months of hire
- Support for off-the-shelf software is also required, as well as the development of new applications.
Nice to have
- HTML, ASP, XML, C-Sharp, JavaScript, PHP, CSS
- PeopleAdmin, Testing Software i.e. Sigma, Scantron
- Client Server architecture & Web architecture, including Web services
- SQL, stored procedures and efficient use of SQL query language, and scheduled jobs.
- Microsoft tools, VB, MS Access coding a plus
- Network Administration, Active Directory, Desktop Services, Hardware & Software configurations
Compensation
- $80,000 - $87,000
- Starting salary to be determined based on experience and qualifications.
