About the role
- Performs service and repair for hydraulic components.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, build and test cylinders, pumps and motors.
- Create and document testing procedures.
- Design test fixtures and test set ups.
- Maintain and ensures acceptable cleanliness levels within hydraulic test area and hydraulic work station.
- Own every basic hand tool and many specialty tools to service hydraulic equipment at an advanced level.
Requirements

- Must be able to correctly size, design and select proper seals and sealing material.
- Must be able to identify component serviceability and level with a high degree of accuracy.
- Physical Dexterity -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- 2 year fluid power degree or formal training in industrial technology, mechanics or related field in which fluid power is part of the curriculum preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience -7 plus years Hydraulic Experience.
- Must have experience in designing and building test fixtures.
- Must have experience in crossing units, tearing down core units, cleaning and preparing hydraulic units.
- Must have demonstrated ability to assemble and test subassemblies and assemble and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors.
- Experience in measuring and verifying tolerances required.
Skills
- Physical Dexterity -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Position stands 95 to 100% of the workday
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must possess characteristics of a strong leader and have the ability to motivate and direct people as they work.

- Education -High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
