About the role

Evaluate, build and test cylinders, pumps and motors.
Create and document testing procedures.
Design test fixtures and test set ups.
Maintain and ensures acceptable cleanliness levels within hydraulic test area and hydraulic work station.
Own every basic hand tool and many specialty tools to service hydraulic equipment at an advanced level.

Must be able to correctly size, design and select proper seals and sealing material.
Must be able to identify component serviceability and level with a high degree of accuracy.
Physical Dexterity -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
2 year fluid power degree or formal training in industrial technology, mechanics or related field in which fluid power is part of the curriculum preferred.

Experience -7 plus years Hydraulic Experience.
Must have experience in designing and building test fixtures.
Must have experience in crossing units, tearing down core units, cleaning and preparing hydraulic units.
Must have demonstrated ability to assemble and test subassemblies and assemble and test hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors.
Experience in measuring and verifying tolerances required.

Physical Dexterity -Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Position stands 95 to 100% of the workday
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Must possess characteristics of a strong leader and have the ability to motivate and direct people as they work.

Provide hydraulic field service to off-site customers on an as needed basis.
Able to trouble shoot hydraulic systems and assist customers by phone or email.
