Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general ledger and assist in the monthly close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, and overseeing payment runs.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and bank activity, processing treasury transactions to support effective cash management.
  • Support budgeting and expense tracking initiatives to enhance financial planning.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, or real estate investment.
  • Proficiency in Yardi and strong understanding of accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and cash management.
  • Experience in a real estate investment firm, property management company, or family office with real estate holdings.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
