About the role
- At Concordia Language Villages, Culinary Arts is an integral part of creating immersive cultural experiences for learners from around the world.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards in accordance with Minnesota Food Code requirements and Concordia Language Villages expectations.
- Prepare and support cooking activities for Village Weekend Programs.
- Maintain food inventory levels for assigned programs and events.
- Anticipate kitchen production needs and support efficient food service operations.
- Provide meal presentations and support immersive dining experiences.
- Maintain positive public relations for Concordia Language Villages and Concordia College.
- Team Support and Leadership Provide guidance and training to Assistant Cooks and Kitchen Helpers.
- Support a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Cleaning, Sanitation, and Maintenance Maintain organized, clean, and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
- Support recycling and environmental sustainability practices within kitchen work areas.
