About the role
- Knowledgeable of all facets of welding and industrial automation to include blueprint reading, basic metallurgy, heat treating, basic math, electrical and mechanical.
- This individual reports to and will seek general direction and supervision from the department head.
Requirements
- Experience teaching welding and industrial automation to students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Current pipe welding certification or capable of passing required certification This position is highly independent and requires a high degree of integrity and motivation.
- The individual must be willing to teach day, evening, and online classes.
- Must have eyesight of 20/30 with or without corrected lenses and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must have basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
