Responsibilities
- Leads projects to improve the performance of the organization (faster, better, cheaper) to deliver the highest quality products.
- Maps, Measures, Develops, and Implements best practices and continuous improvements on all products.
- Writes and performs validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Writes and implements PFMEA's.
- Supports operations by troubleshooting, providing technical expertise, and conducting timely investigations for the closure of issues.
- Provides commodity (supplier) support to ensure on-time/on-quality delivery of parts as well as to implement and coordinate design changes in a timely manner.
- Creates a strong working relationship across cross functional teams and development teams.
- Drives process improvements in design transfer to manufacturing.
Requirements
- Verifies and/or validates processes and procedures and reports results as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical or any other Engineering discipline.
- Must have the ability to plan and direct own activities and others involved in projects.
Skills
- Evaluates testability and repairability of existing and new products/commodities.
- Coordinates change implementation on the production floor, at suppliers and in Service Parts Supply Chain.
- Monitors repair and test procedures to find opportunities for continuous improvements.
