About the role
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews on commercial construction projects.
- Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal plumbing codes.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents.
- Train, mentor, and develop plumbers and apprentices.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, progress reports, and daily logs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, piping installation, fixtures, equipment, and plumbing codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience supervising multiple crews and coordinating with subcontractors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet project deadlines.
- technical or trade school education preferred.
- Proficient in construction scheduling and project coordination.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with BIM coordination and prefabrication processes.
- Familiarity with construction management software and digital project documentation.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk jobsites and work in various weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to access active construction areas safely.
- High school diploma or GED required
