About the role
- This individual will report directly to PEAK6's FP&A Manager.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and senior management to prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages that drive business decisions
- create and maintain detailed budgeting templates
- Continuously improve and automate financial management processes and analytical tools needed to deliver reporting and budgeting
- Drive cross-business standardization for all FP&A processes
- Build and enhance financial models to evaluate new business and revenue opportunities, and expense reduction initiatives
- Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance/FP&A
- Strong grasp of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements along with the ability to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions.
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner
- The ability to navigate ambiguity - you won't know everything and that's ok!
- But the ability to research and use your resources is key.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple work streams simultaneously
Nice to have
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Adaptive Insights experience is a plus

Compensation
- $88,000-$110,000
- Develop annual budget(s) and financial forecasts which will drive appropriate and timely decision making
