About the role
- Adobe's Growth Marketing & Insights (GMI) organization is in the middle of a genuine, ground-up reinvention of how marketing teams operate.
- We're no longer adding AI tools to the margins-we're rebuilding workflows from first principles, with agentic AI at the center.
- The Forward Deployed AI Engineer role exists to make that happen.
Responsibilities
- You'll share what you build, incorporate what others have built into your own work, and help to establish the playbooks and patterns that scale good ideas across all of GMI.
- The other half is getting someone to trust it, use it, and eventually own it.
- Before you build anything, you ask questions.
Requirements
- Expertise in AI development platforms and tooling (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, agent frameworks, API integrations, Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and at least one other common language
- Demonstrated ability to coach or enable others, with evidence that people you worked with changed their behavior as a result
- Strong communication skills with the ability to make technical ideas feel accessible to non-technical audiences
- You have opinions about what's useful, and what's just hype, because you've tested enough of it to know the difference.
Nice to have
- Direct experience working inside a marketing department or marketing operations function
- Familiarity with Adobe's marketing technology ecosystem: Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, GenStudio for Performance Marketing, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Workfront, etc.
- Knowledge of Adobe's Creative & Productivity product lines: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat, etc.
- We're on a mission to hire the very best and believe in creating a company culture where all employees are empowered to make an impact.
- The next big idea could be yours.
- Let's Adobe together
Skills
- If these tools are used inappropriately or in a way that misrepresents your work, your application may not move forward in the process.
- An instinct for communication that runs as deep as your technical skills.
Compensation
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
- The U.S. pay range for this position is $125,600 -- $234,150 annually.
- Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
- In California, the pay range for this position is $161,700 - $234,150
