Responsibilities

  • In this role, you'll help deliver safe, functional, and sustainable plumbing solutions for a wide range of building projects.
  • By integrating plumbing and piping design with overall mechanical-electrical systems, IMEG delivers safe, functional, and sustainable solutions that support occupant needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent required
  • Strong technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles in thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics as they relate to plumbing and fire protection design for buildings
  • Expertise in industry standard engineering software and tools.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

  • Engineering In Training (EIT) Certification preferred
  • 5 years of experience minimum required, 6 preferred, in the building design consulting industry OR
  • Associates degree, or certificate, in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Engineering preferred
  • 9 years of experience minimum required, 10 preferred, in the building design consulting or construction industry

  • Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
