About the role

Karat is seeking talented U.S.-based engineers ready to commit to a dedicated, availability-based contract through Q3 2026.
You will hold a consistent block of hours each week during which you are available to conduct interviews, including short-notice requests.
Availability outside of standard business hours and on weekends is welcome.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience conducting technical interviews, either through a formal employer program or independently
must be currently located in the United States

Compensation

Classification: Independent Contractor
Upon contract conclusion, contractors may opt into Karat's standard Interview Engineer program, which operates on a per-interview compensation model.
