About the role
- The Department of Social & Psychological Sciences in the School of Arts, Letters, and Sciences at the National University invite applications for part-time faculty in BA Psychology.
- The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of, or potential for, excellence in teaching in their field and a commitment to serving the university's adult student body.
- Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
- This position primarily works closely with the Faculty Course Lead and other faculty within the program and contributes to ensuring program quality, student engagement, and success.
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
Requirements
- Terminal degree or MA/MSc in the field of Psychology or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Senior Project (undergraduate psychology capstone), History of Psychology, Biological, Developmental, Personality, Social, and Cognitive Psychology.
- Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.)
- Required:
- 1 year of higher education teaching experience.

- Hourly: $26.63 - $28.89
