About the role
- For over 50 years, CET has been helping people and businesses save energy and reduce waste.
- Inspectors and auditors are critical catalysts for implementing energy measures.
Responsibilities
- We partner with city and state agencies, utilities, homeowners, and business owners across the U.S. to build a just and equitable transition to the low-carbon economy, with the passage of state and federal climate goals.
- You will educate businesses and motivate them to implement recommendations to divert waste from disposal.
- Candidates must reside in the greater Boston area and be able to travel within the territory up to 80% of t he time to support customer and program delivery needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a field related to waste diversion, with 1-3 years of commercial experience.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make skillful presentations and connect with diverse audiences.
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with multiple programs and deliverables.
- Ability to track and report results.
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check before the hire date.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel, maintain a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Nice to have
- Experience with selling services preferred, with the ability to close on projects.
- Ability to speak a second language preferred (Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin is most helpful).
