About the role

For over 50 years, CET has been helping people and businesses save energy and reduce waste.
Inspectors and auditors are critical catalysts for implementing energy measures.

We partner with city and state agencies, utilities, homeowners, and business owners across the U.S. to build a just and equitable transition to the low-carbon economy, with the passage of state and federal climate goals.
You will educate businesses and motivate them to implement recommendations to divert waste from disposal.
Candidates must reside in the greater Boston area and be able to travel within the territory up to 80% of t he time to support customer and program delivery needs.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a field related to waste diversion, with 1-3 years of commercial experience.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make skillful presentations and connect with diverse audiences.
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with multiple programs and deliverables.
Ability to track and report results.
Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check before the hire date.
Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel, maintain a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Experience with selling services preferred, with the ability to close on projects.
Ability to speak a second language preferred (Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin is most helpful).
