Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely development of baseline schedules, provide schedule updates, and manage implementation throughout the life cycle of various project types
- Develop contingency options with the team to accelerate schedule.
- The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining all aspects of planning and scheduling efforts.
- Collaborates with project teams to ensure timely development of baseline schedules, provide schedule updates, and manage implementation throughout the life cycle of various project types.
- May manage more junior level staff.
Requirements
- P erformance of the required duties will require physical ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk, generally up to 7 hours per day and occasionally standing and walking.
- Regularly required to use hands to operate standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine).
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ten (10) years of experience including four (4) years of field construction experience on large ground-up projects and a minimum of six (6) years in project scheduling.
- Some travel required
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS office, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.
- A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on both commercial and residential projects, preferably on the west coast.
- Actual pay is based on individual skill level and experience.
Compensation
- Range of base pay is $170,000-$195,000.
