About the role
- As a Software Engineer Intern / New Grad, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build, and ship features across the Hipp platform. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience building production systems while learning modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable systems supporting Hipp's AI-native EMR and billing platform
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features
- As a Software Engineer Intern / New Grad, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build, and ship features across the Hipp platform.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with at least one programming language such as:
- Familiarity with modern web development technologies (React, Node.js, APIs)
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Personal projects, open-source contributions, or startup experience
- Work on real production systems from day one
- Learn startup engineering: shipping fast, owning systems, and solving complex problems
