About the role
- The Company has commercialized AlloMap®, a gene expression test that aids clinicians in identifying heart transplant recipients with stable graft function who have a low probability of moderate/severe acute cellular rejection.

- Director, Laboratory Operations, the Laboratory Services Manager is responsible for managing technical and outreach activities related to collection, processing and shipment of patient samples for testing at the CareDx clinical laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Track and trend quality and service metrics (same day shipping, TAT, patient projected versus actual testing frequency); implement solutions to address issues individually and system-wide
- Lead operational activities related to new sample collection/processing and appointment coordination initiatives
- Develop sample collection logistics and support materials for new products
- Manage collection and processing materials supplier; updates and inventories of support materials (lab services guide, training materials etc)
Nice to have
- Bachelors degree in biology, clinical laboratory science or other related field
- MS in related field or MBA a plus
Benefits
- 5 years experience in laboratory testing, preferably in a clinical/medical laboratory setting, and/ or technical training
- At least one year of account management experience in a diagnostics or medical device company preferred
