About the role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in our facilities.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and rooftop units
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls

Nice to have

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions using specialized tools and equipment
  • Test and balance HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Must be able to lift, move, and maneuver heavy equipment and components weighing up but not limited to 100 lbs., including lifting units and materials onto rooftops via ladders
  • Must be able to travel out of state with limited notice for emergency tickets
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree in HVAC technology or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong background in installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems

  • Ability to prioritize requests on a regular basis.
  • Proficient MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of basic building systems and components
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including working with all levels of the organization.
