About the role
- The Field Engineer also participates in overseeing job site safety, quality control, project scheduling, etc. as determined by the Jobsite Superintendent.
- Assist with maintaining the project schedule and controlling costs.
- Proactively identify and strategically solve problems with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with subcontractors, and Owner's vendors.
- Participate in the review of all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
- Assist with coordinating building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies.
- Familiarity with construction management and office productivity software, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Procore, or other web-based or mobile document and project management solutions.
- Maintain OSHA 30, First Aid, & CPR Certification.
Requirements
- In collaboration with the Superintendent, perform daily job site walks, prepare daily reports, take jobsite photos and other required documents (reference the "Superintendent Items Due" spreadsheet.
