Responsibilities
- Mary Bird Perkins and its partners work together to provide state-of-the-art treatments and unparalleled collaborative, comprehensive cancer services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infection control, employee health.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills. Time management skills to address the severity and priority of open issues.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Master's preferred.
- RN license (State of LA or Compact) and certification in Infection Control (CIC) strongly preferred.
- Certified BLS Instructor preferred, must attain within 90 days.
Skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, CMS).
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Time management skills to address the severity and priority of open issues.
