Responsibilities

  • Mary Bird Perkins and its partners work together to provide state-of-the-art treatments and unparalleled collaborative, comprehensive cancer services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infection control, employee health.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills. Time management skills to address the severity and priority of open issues.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Master's preferred.
  • RN license (State of LA or Compact) and certification in Infection Control (CIC) strongly preferred.
  • Certified BLS Instructor preferred, must attain within 90 days.

Skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission, CMS).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills to address the severity and priority of open issues.
