Responsibilities
- Establish a supportive, ongoing relationship with clients and their support systems
- Contribute to comprehensive assessments with clients and their supports which identifies client strengths and needs
- Establish and implement Recovery Plans to guide the mutual work towards client recovery
- Provide ongoing support and referrals for families, as needed
- Provide support with other duties as assigned.
- It is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities.
- Experience facilitating and creating peer support groups is an asset.
- We're looking for a Peer Support Worker to join our Outreach Team!
- To create, implement, facilitate and evaluate recovery topic focused, pre-vocational, vocational and life skills groups and activities within Hospitals.
Requirements
- Lived experience on a path to recovery is required.
Compensation
- $62,425.03 - $73,441.21 annually (Candidate qualifications will be considered when determining the starting salary)
