About the role
- Kronospan is the world's leading producer of wood panel products including MDF, OSB, Particleboard, and Laminate Flooring.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct electrical and mechanical maintenance team to include safety, staffing, machinery uptime, cost, training, work schedules and assignments, and morale
- Develop training programs to maintain and advance the skill sets of the maintenance team
- Assist project engineers in developing efficient layout and production flow of manufacturing operations
- Develop and maintain preventive, predictive, and proactive mechanical maintenance programs for all plant equipment
- Ensure maintenance instructions are accurate, effective and support compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage the chemical control program, including MSDS, for the Mechanical Maintenance Department
Requirements
- 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
