About the role

  • This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting capital activity, and maintaining strong controls across the fund structure.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and senior leadership, the Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to performance reporting, audit and compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the platform.
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, with a strong foundation in accounting and fund finance.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day finance and operations of Renewable Private Funds, including treasury, liquidity management, and capital transactions.
  • Prepare analyses and presentations for senior management to support valuations, forecasting, business planning, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • respond to investor inquiries as required.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with private funds, asset management, or infrastructure/renewables environments considered an asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems
  • familiarity with fund administration platforms is an asset.

Compensation

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, supporting schedules, and tax reporting deliverables, including K-1 coordination.
  • Support the annual audit process and maintain strong internal controls in compliance with accounting standards and fund governing documents.
