We are seeking an Originator to join a committed and progressive team where you will bridge the gap between commercial growth and operational excellence.

To support this mission, our Environmental Markets (EM) team drives wholesale value across North America by managing complex market transactions from initial sourcing to final execution.
Working closely with our Trade Operations, Contracts, and Portfolio Management teams, you will develop and manage counterparty relationships, navigate contract lifecycles, and build a deep understanding of compliance obligations.

An eager "hunter" who thrives on outbound market execution paired with a consultative communication style required to manage complex counterparty dynamics

3-5+ years of professional experience, including up to 4-5 years of direct experience originating environmental commodities or energy products.
You ideally bring an existing network of industry contacts (utilities, developers, compliance buyers)

A foundational or advanced understanding of Clean Fuel / Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) markets and Cap-and-Trade frameworks (e.g.,
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Basic quantitative skills, such as exposure to options pricing or basic programming languages, are an advantage but not a deal breaker

The starting base pay for this position is $94,000.00 - $169,000.00.
The base pay and level is dependent upon many factors such as relevant work experience in an originator role, transferable or job-related skills, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.
The total compensation package for a successful candidate in this role may exceed the base pay, as the position carries the possibility of discretionary compensation.
The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
